They stood proud and pretty and harbored great gifts and joy for our families... and then we stuffed them back out the door, and shoved them in a garbage can where they await their final days to be played out by rotting in a trash pile. We loved you Christmas Tree. Thanks for absorbing Carbon Dioxide and releasing precious life giving oxygen back into the air, we thought chopping you down and dressing you up in shiny lights and topping you with a star, was a nice way to celebrate your gifts to us on the biggest gift giving holiday of the year. but now... it's time for you to give us one final gift by getting your brown needle dropping ass out of our houses, so we can get on with our lives.
