Mylapore Festival, an annual feature in Chennai in the month of January is sponsored by Sundaram Finance and organised by Mr Vincent D'Souza of Mylapore Times. This year the festival took place from January 3rd to 6th. The 4 day festival comprises of concerts in Parks at Mylapore, Folk Dance, Kolam contest, heritage walks, Kokkalikattai Aattam and so on. I visited the festival on the concluding day and I have captured some images of the Kolam Contest and Kokkalikattai Aattam. I present these images in the slide show here.

Mylapore Festival is an annual feature in January like December is for Music. Vincent D'Souza of Mylapore Times with the support of Sundaram Finance bring out the cultural heritage of Tamilnadu by organising musical concert, organising heritage walk, kolam contest, folk dance - Kokkalikattai Aattam, Kavadi, Karagattam etc., The four day event ended on January 6, 2008.
