Portland Sunset
Black and white version of the Portland Cityscape, just 60 feet further up from the previous colour version.
Taken on the east bank of the Willamette River on the Vera Katz walking pathway between the Hawthrone and Morrison Bridge. Note this is straight across from where the Spirit of Portland is docked. This particular spot had a platform to stand on where I shot the picture. You can access the pathway via the Hawthrone, Morrison, Burnside, and the Steel Bridge. It is pretty much a loop around the waterfront in the downtown area. Before the pathway there was a beat up path that was rather seedy and unsafe. That or you stopped your car on the freeway and that is just utterly dangerous. Alot of bicycles and joggers use this path as well as tourist and wandering photographers looking for good sunset shots.

Romantic Spots - Oregon Coast Style
It may not be a small island or Hawaii, but this is our coast line and this place would make a great picnic spot. Just offering this as suggestion. I personally do not know if it works, I did not test it today, just took the picture.

This place, the Columbia River Gorge is just one of many awesome creations of God. I am so thankful it is in my backyard.

Newly opened. After looking thru their little museum, this B & W version makes it look like it did back in the early 1920's or so. The cars give it away for today.

Downtown St Helens, Oregon
'Downtown St Helens, Oregon' On Black I have driven thru this town hundreds of times and never went to city center. But they have a cute old piece of Americana here. The city park is right next to this court house and it is on the Columbia River. They were having a wedding there last night, the view was awesome.
