San Giovanni in Laterano

The Basilica of St John Lateran is the cathedral church of Rome and the official ecclesiastical seat of the Pope. As the cathedral of the Bishop of Rome it ranks above all other churches in the Catholic Church, even above St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.

I recommend you view better on large.

This photo, which was one of my first HDRs, was very difficult to take because in Vatican Museum isn't allowed to use a tripod, so I had to improvise one :P

Arenys de Mar

This photo was taken this afternoon from la Muntanya del Mal Temps, Arenys de Mar. It can be seen the harbour of Arenys de Mar.

Arenys harbour, for many years the only existing port on the north coast of Barcelona, is the most evident proof of the long history and seafaring tradition of the village. The beaches framed by hills which run right down to the sea, give a preview of the neighbouring Costa Brava.

Floating Lights

This shot was taken in la Casa Bar de Quadras, Barcelona. The yellow circles are lamps (viewed from the top to bottom) and the blue circles are part of the glass through I took this shot. So you can see the lights because the ground of the 4th floor is made of glass.

London City Hall

City Hall in London, informally known as the "Leaning Tower of Pizzas" or "Fosters Nutsack" (see also 30 St Mary Axe), is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority and the Mayor of London. It stands on the south bank of the River Thames, in the More London development by Tower Bridge. Designed by Norman Foster, it opened in July 2002.

The building has an unusual bulbous shape, intended to reduce the building's surface area and thus improve energy efficiency. It has been compared variously to Darth Vader's helmet, a misshapen egg, a woodlouse or a motorcycle helmet. London Mayor Ken Livingstone referred to it as a "glass testicle". Its designers reportedly saw the building as a giant sphere hanging over the Thames, but opted for a more conventionally rooted building instead. The building has no front or back on conventional terms but derives its shape from a modified sphere.

St Paul's Cathedral

St Paul's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral on Ludgate Hill, in the City of London, England and the seat of the Bishop of London. The present building dates from the 17th century, and is generally reckoned to be London's fifth St Paul's Cathedral, although the number is higher if every major medival reconstruction is counted as a new cathedral. The cathedral is one of London's most visited sites.

Westminster Abbey

The Collegiate Church of St Peter, Westminster, which is almost always referred to by its original name of Westminster Abbey, is a mainly Gothic church, on the scale of a cathedral (and indeed often mistaken for one), in Westminster, London, just to the west of the Palace of Westminster. It is the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English monarchs.

Christ Church College

Christ Church, is one of the largest and wealthiest of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England, with an estimated financial endowment of 175m (2003), as well as the cathedral church of the diocese of Oxford. The cathedral has a famous men and boys' choir, and is one of the main choral foundations in Oxford.

Christ Church has traditionally been seen as the most aristocratic college in Oxford. It has produced thirteen British prime ministers (the two most recent being Anthony Eden from 1955 to 1957 and Sir Alec Douglas-Home in 1963?1964), which is more than any other Oxford or Cambridge college (and two short of the total number for the University of Cambridge, fifteen). However today the proportion of undergraduates from maintained and independent schools is roughly equal, which is typical of most Oxford colleges.

Tower Bridge

Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, England over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name. It has become an iconic symbol of London and is sometimes mistakenly called London Bridge, which is the next bridge upstream.
