S$4.00 for 3. Kong Bak Bau - Belly pork braised in a dark stock (often consisting of dark and light soy sauce, caramelised sugar, Chinese cooking wine, star anise and cassia bark), with the pork then sliced into portions and slipped into flat bun pockets.

French toast fluff and nutella sammich
At Shopsin's. Of course, there's no way that such a combination could taste BAD. I don't think many restaurants offer sandwiches made with French toast, god knows why. Too bad this is so pricey ($11!?). It's something you can make yourself obviously, with the problem that I don't want to be stuck with a jar of Fluff and a jar of Nutella and a loaf of bread and a bunch of eggs (none of which are staples of my kitchen, unless I made them so...hmmm).

BBQ cheese bread
Spotted during the 2005 Haldon Street festival in Lakemba, Sydney.I'm not sure what these are called or why they were so popular with Lebanese locals! I watched the stallholders slice sesame bread rolls, insert a slice of cheese and then sprinkle the top with spices and sesame seeds.The bread was then toasted on a bbq. I would have asked for more info, but this stall was packed and I wasn't convinced I wouldn't regret forking over $5 for a taste.
