permanent shade of blue
Hey my soul sister don't you look so sad
It's time to stop thinking about what you ain't got and see the things you have
Now don't you go and throw it all throw it all away
Tomorrow doesn't have to be just another yesterday
Ride the storm, life goes on, Life goes on, ride the storm
'Cos I can't watch you drown away, drown in your own tears
Everybody gets hurt sometimes, and everybody has fears
You say you want to end it all, but don't you get that rad baby
Cause if you want the good things, you got to taste the bad sometimes
That's how it is
Ride the storm, life goes on, Life goes on, ride the storm
'Cos I know that life can get hazy, but don't let this world drive you crazy, hear me baby
So don't let your world turn a permanent shade of blue
You've got to learn to kick the habit baby, before it starts to kick you yes it will
Don't you know you're bold enough and strong enough to fight
Someway somehow you know it's going to be all right
That's how it is
Ride the storm, life goes on, Life goes on, ride the storm

"be simple like a flower"
I was just listening to Meshell NdegeOcello:
"Come smoke my herb
make your heart like the ocean, mind like the clear blue sky...
Just love, worry not about tomorrow be simple like the flowers... "

sky's embrace
Do we really wanna live together? Somebody tell me
Do we really wanna kill each other? Somebody tell me
Or will we always be fighting, always be at war?
Will we find understanding, where it wasn't before?
Will we always be hung up, on colour and glass
like the way it is now and it's been in the past?
Do we really wanna live together? Somebody tell me
Do we really wanna kill each other? Somebody tell me
Or will we always be living, in violence and crime?
Are we standing on a time bomb that's run out of time?
Or will we shed a new light where the sun don't shine?
Do we really wanna live together? Somebody tell me
Do we really wanna kill each other? Somebody tell me
Do we really wanna help the brother? Somebody tell me
Do we care about the future? Somebody tell me
Will we shed a new light where the sun don't shine?

spectral morning
CHASING STRANGE
It?s just three digits
but I?m far from home
Fallen, nobody cares
I twist three keys and I?m all alone
There?s a party upstairs
It?s not the first time I?ve been lied to
I knew nothing about you
I am chasing a strange
And I will rearrange
To be a part with every change that you make
Breaking shadows every time that I run
Under a love I can?t share
The liquid daughters and the liquid son disappear in thin air
Every single breath, every single sight
Is all the earth
And it needs to be
And I am chasing a strange
And I will rearrange
To be a part
With every change that you make
And I am chasing a strange
And I will rearrange
To be a part
With every change that you make
I am chasing a strange
And I will rearrange
To be a part
With every change that you make

bird of passage
Right before this shot, I took hundreds of migratory birds, but they flew on my right side and the clouds there weren't as interesting as here, so again only the lonely of the birds... :)

skies of gold
Thank you all for visiting my photostream and for your kind comments in the last time!!! :-)
I need some days to visit all your photostreams, just to say thanks!
Here's a beautiful song, I've just been listening to:
Get Together
Love is but a song to sing
Fear's the way we die
You can make the mountains ring
Or make the angels cry
Though the bird is on the wing
And you may not know why
Chorus
Come on people now
Smile on your brother
Everybody get together
Try to love one another
Right now
Some may come and some may go
We shall surely pass
When the one that left us here
Returns for us at last
We are but a moment's sunlight
Fading in the grass
[chorus]
If you hear the song I sing
You will understand
You hold the key to love and fear
All in your trembling hand
Just one key unlocks them both
It's there at you command

music in b&w
A while ago I played some music on my keyboard... piano-music, improvisations... meditations... about melodies that were in my mind, came to my mind or just happened out of the moment.
It was music without an amount of technical skill or musical knowledge, but it came from the heart and from different moods. I recorded them during a couple of weeks and had quite a few hours of material in the end. Later I met a friend who, back then in 2001 had better possibilities to record this music... and more just for fun, we recorded it and made a CD... and... I had no idea which success it would create around the world and even influence musicians like Keith Jarrett... I'm just kidding!!! ;))
If you like, listen to it... but please, be not too critical, I had no teacher until that time. Just a bit later I took some lessons on the piano, for one year...
Here's the link:
www.myspace.com/yives
(On this site I can use four titles at the same time, so, maybe after a while I'll change some songs... let's see.)
I also have some other music in my synthesizer, that I recorded with many different layers and overdubs, but don't have it on CD or on my computer yet (I think my computer is not fast enough to record it). This music also contains a lot of different moods or styles (like drum&bass, "instrumental r&b", spacy music, soundtrack-like music, ...) I hope to show it to some friends later, who are interested in it. :)

imaginary day
This is one of the last of the rather unreal "snow/'sand'/mars-works" ;)... there's no other choice for me than to come back to earth again:o)

washing of the water
Peter Gabriel, former Genesis member and I think well known to everybody, today celebrates his birthday.
Happy birthday!!! - Herzlichen Glückwunsch!!!
Most of his lyrics are profound and moving, I think the the song "Washing of the water" fits well to the image and by the way it always has been one of my favorite songs (musically and as regards content) of this great artist:
"Washing Of The Water"
River, river carry me on
Living river carry me on
River, river carry me on
To the place where I come from
So deep, so wide, will you take me on your back for a ride
If I should fall, would you swallow me deep inside
River, show me how to float
I feel like I'm sinking down
Thought that I could get along
But here in this water
My feet won't touch the ground
I need something to turn myself around
Going away, away towards the sea
River deep, can you lift up and carry me
Oh roll on though the heartland
'Til the sun has left the sky
River, river carry me high
'Til the washing of the water make it all alright
Let your waters reach me like she reached me tonight
Letting go, it's so hard
The way it's hurting now
To get this love untied
So tough to stay with thing
'Cause if I follow through
I face what I denied
I get those hooks out of me
And I take out the hooks that I sunk deep in your side
Kill that fear of emptiness, loneliness I hide
River, oh river, river running deep
Bring me something that will let me get to sleep
In the washing of the water will you take it all away
Bring me something to take this pain away
(Peter Gabriel)
