Lines and lights in Dublin.
The Samuel Beckett suspension bridge over the river liffey Dublin .
i spent hours here taking photos of the lights in the water. i have never taken night time shot other than the moon etc but never in the city or of lights like this. god it was just so great to be back in dublin and hear dublin accents again i loooooooove dublin it was where i was born and where my heart will always be but i am glad i live where i do and this was a very rare occasion that i was able to take these shots .
i am only learning how to do this setting the camera on a delay to catch the lights so i am experimenting with these shots

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I love taking photos of cactus when i get the chance . found this shot i took last year never knew there were so many different types until i started taking shots of them . Some have really lovely colours designs and flowers . I enjoyed this day in the blazing sun shooting them it ws lovely

Beautifull Spring is here,
New shoots growing in the sunshine . an old photo i found among my endless treasure trove of photos
i love getting totally lost looking close at nature all around me

Goodbye i am Going to seek the sun for the summer
I will not be on flickr until september as i am going away on saturday to find the sunshine haha. i just want to say goodbye to everyone and let you know so you do not think i am not bothered to comment on the photos i will not be using a computer where i am going to .
i wish you one and all a very happy summer

i choose this photo as i took it with my new camera so it is my first photo with this camera, and it is straight off the camera
this is lough tae in county wicklow Ireland. maybe when i come back i will have learned lots more about photography . i have learned more than i ever thought possible since i joined flickr all thanks to the fantastic contacts i have and the help and encouragement and advice given by you and looking at your stunning work really inspired me to try to be a bit better
i thank you all and wish you all a very happy summer . i will be dying to get back to flickr to see what else i will see and learn it has really been a joy for me these past few months

Daisy chains in the sun.
i love daisies it reminds me of great summer days when i was a child playing he loves me he love me not haha and making daisy chains in the sun . oh the simple things in life can be just so wonderfull.
my father used to sing this song to us when we were young and i loved to hear it .

The moon
i love to photo the sky come rain or shine sunset or sunrise day or night . this night i was out photographing the sky . this is the best photo of the moon i ever was able to take .

The Valley In County Wicklow Ireland.
County wicklow is one of my favourite places to go and i would often hike along these roads and cross country a few years ago . it is called the garden of Ireland
i am at the top of a small waterfall that flows into the river running along the side of the forest in the far distance the mountain still has snow on the top and where i took this photo from there are patches of snow still around which surprised me i think that is why it is not as green as it usually is

Life is all about balance .. lol
Took this photo last year i am finding loads of photos i forgot i had when i went through my files . this was a brilliant day the sun was shining even though it was cold and the birds just seemed to want their photos taken i spent hours here at the river edge looking at them . liked the way he tucked his leg up under him as it was very cold day .

Just Love.
love at the top of the circle of life . all light colour and joy come from it . the many layers and path it takes you on in life.
done on picknik dont know how to do photoshop or which one to look at . but am at the end of picknik now no more buttons to press so if anyone has a suggestions what i could do next that would be great .

I love all roses i think they are special but i say that about everything in nature haha.!!!
i always think when i look at a rose i see all the layers there and then i see their beautiful heart, like the many different layers and paths of life . i love to see each petal unfurl and discover its beauty much like these things facinate me in nature and people
i am not much of a flower photographer but i just wanted to try out new frames and change exposures to see what would happen i like this frame i got this frame on picknik and i did all the messing around with the exposure on this old photo on picknik today. i even learned how to make the photo a bit bigger so that is more new things i have learned to add to the pot hahah never messed with exposures it is great fun i am going to do it again for sure . hope i got the dof right on this one,

One little miracle of nature ,
went to the zoo to take photos of the animals last year and it was so cold all the animals looked miserable so the best shot i got for the whole day was this tiny little robin, i was so thrilled to get this shot that the day sure was not wasted i love robins very much and have a great attachment to them since i was very young . so i traveled 150 miles and nearly froze to death and this is the only shot i got but it was worth it . seemed like he was waiting to get his photo taken to make up for all the effort i put in that day haha .

A Light Bright Twirly Delight .
haha i had the best fun ever making this you will need your sunglasses for this one . it is a dark cold wet day so i decided to make mine full of colours hahaha and i learned how to make a photo huge . did all this on picknik dont really know how i decided this time to press every second button and this is what i got . i love big bright bold colours and i sure did get them . i loooooove pressing buttons to see what happens . running out of buttons on picknik to press will have to find something new to try out that is not too hard for me as i am not very good with computers lol as you can see haha
