God, why did my momma leave me?
This juvenile Red -Tailed Hawk has been hanging around my yard (of course in the high trees!) for days now, not sure but he may have left for awhile he never came back tonight. He has been yelling as if he is calling his Momma to help him hunt, He flew over my head last night with a mouse at dusk, but I think he really loved that raccoon I found in the back near my woods, He finished it so he is off to hunt new things now!
even though I needed a 1.4 tele-converter and a 500mm lens I am very happy, It is the first time I got a good shot of a Red Tailed Hawk in my yard!
p.s. it seems it may be a she, but I am not sure, He/She cry's like a girl... LOL
but I think also the juveniles are harder to tell but the female is larger than the mail and has less red on her tail... right now don't know if anyone can tell?

This Eagle had just made his catch and flew to a nearby tree to eat his catch while a Vulture stood there and watched waiting for the remains and he did clean the branch afterward! I decided to go to the point and see if there was any Lil' ones hanging out and boy were we both surprised! This Osprey Chick was sitting where they are practicing fishing but heard the other Chick around the bend... I think I missed Mom getting a fish for them!
but I was lucky to find this one since the nest is not so close this year!

Momma Doe: Zoey and Fawn
Well Momma Zoey is a great Mommy! I never get to see the Fawn anymore just a flash and this is the only one shot I got before she took her Lil' one into the woods. Split second catch. I hope I get more of the Baby soon! So far I only see one Fawn and this one hasn't been so brave since Momma said: "NO Photographers Lil' One!"

Confrontation: Fawn and Turkey
Chase the Fawn runs into a not so happy juvenile wild Turkey and the Turkey is barely caught in the next shot flying at the Fawn. (bummer another great dusk shot- doesnt Chase know I want him to come out in the morning!).
This Turkey is a loner, he is not the latest brood but an earlier one this year but he is not full grown yet.
