Model: Ande
Vue en couleurs
Okay. I have been meaning to get a shot of Ande since, well, ages ago but never really got around to doing it. She's a really cool model--awesome fashion sense, humor, and she's the varsity football team's manager, too :)

Welcome to Heaven Underground
The name of the place isn't really Heaven Underground, but that's what I perceive it as! It looks a bit ominous and sort of creepy when you look at it initially, but it is seriously THE BEST place for shopping in Nanjing--VERY, VERY CHEAP DEALS (you can haggle, too, though I prefer not to) and *cough* CHIC clothing. According to the NYTimes, no-one uses the word chic anymore, but who cares?! This place is chic. And this might be the longest description I've written on Flickr before, hahaha!
*Also...the styles are UP TO DATE.

la flora violeta
Is it a hydrangea? I don't know. I can't identify plants, evidently. But whatever the case, it's BB. sort of. or maybe BV (beautiful violet).

Majestic Sunrise
The few benefits of waking up at the crack of dawn (hyperbole).
I was speaking to my friend Chrissy one morning in school, next to a large window, when I turned around and beheld this lovely sight. Too bad the wall prevented me from capturing a good shot. Special thanks to Chrissy who always adds magic to her surroundings.
Title adapted from Louis Landon's piece "Majestic Sunrise."

silhouette separation anxiety
I finally understood what separation anxiety felt like today.
Today was one of those days...
that I forgot my camera at home.
I only realized a bit into my sixth period class (geom).
It was sad.
Anyhoo.
I went out later today
when it was raining.
I like my umbrella and camera.

we drift along, together in this omnicolor ocean
I like this title. I also am starting to like the two flat clouds featured. The sky is an ocean. Can the vice versa be true as well?
The Travels of M Through Paradiso
Skies and oceans alike.
Let me take you through paradise:
The ocean in the sky.
The two whales serenely glide through open waters above us,
leaving a torrent of wispy clouds behind them in their wake.
In the distance,
A mysteriously intoxicating golden orb
slowly, slowly, slowly, falls through the deep ocean in the sky.
It spreads warmth and light.
It spreads radiance and beauty.
And slowly it shrinks back
as the whales drift away.

Patchworked Cityscape
Patterned clouds are a favorite of mine. This was taken one glorious morning from my room in the Ritz Carlton of Seoul right after I woke up. It was amazing.

the grand artist's splotches
Amazing, fiery explosions. The little tufts of clouds just reminded me of paint splotches.

Amidst the Rainbow
I remember the day I took this photograph. It rained all day long. I had invited my friend Chrissy over to come swim with me, but due to the rain, we were unable to swim (ARGH). However, our frustrations were washed away when I looked out the window to find this beauty. Chrissy seriously brings picture-perfect moments with her (though she denies it herself).

I found this when I was looking back at my first shots. Can't believe I haven't uploaded it before! I shot this last year, geez! -_-" Wish I had a D-SLR. (totally random but yeah)

ocean in the sky 5.celestial
A continuation of my [ocean in the sky] collection. This time it's a celestial focus. I tried my hand at editing it with Picasa. This will be my first attempt at editing photos. Somewhat experimental. The original will come later. Taken on the airplane.

Iridescent Cloud
It's the first time in my life (as well as my aunt's and cousin's) that I've ever seen something as beautiful as this. It was taken on July 11, 2009 right under ??? in Shanghai, a few seconds after I exited the coffee shop and looked up at the sky for no apparent reason whatsoever. Now I have a reason to explain why I gaze up at the sky so often. I think this is extremely rare (the occurrence of such a phenomenon). ....(sighh) I don't think my camera did the actual cloud any justice... >_< especially when it had an annoying black arc that kept on showing up in all the pictures I've been taking! (it disappears for a while and comes back every so often, ARGH)
