Coffee Lover ACEO
my entry in the PCAGOE February Challenge- ACEOs.
I started with a smooth, coffee coloured center piece with black coffee colour lettering, hand formed from polymer clay. I surrounded that with tiles in dark brown, cream, white, pink and glittery gold, and accented with coffee cups, hearts, coffee beans, coffee flowers and sparkly gems.

ACEO Composite
This ACEO/ATC was made with translucent clay. I really liked the look of it when backlite. So I also photographed it with strong sidelighting from the sun. It is fun to see how it changes. It was created for PCAGOE's February 2009 monthly challenge.

Spring Love ACEO
It's 15 degrees here tonight - brrr! So I made this bright, spring ACEO. It's made entirely of polymer clay and has two tiny holes to display a matching pair of earrings.

Valentine Memories Polymer Clay ACEO
My entry in the February PCAGOE challenge, the theme of which is ACEOs. If you like it, please go to www.pcagoe.com and vote for it between Feb.1st and Feb. 7th. You could also win some beautiful polymer clay prizes!
The base is a Skinner blend of Cadmium Red Premo and Kato Red clay, which I embossed with a baroque stamp. I painted it with eggshell acrylic paint I mixed with a little diamond dust embossing powder (which makes a lovely texture like grout!). I cured, sanded and buffed it.
The top pieces are image transfers onto Buttercream Studio by Sculpey Clay blended with Whip Cream Studio clay, using Magic Transfer Paper. The photo is of my Maternal Grandparents in 1934. I added a natural pearl bead and a dark red coral Swarovski crystal for interest.

ACEO "Twilight Elf"
This is an ACEO card made specifically for February PCAGOE Monthly Challenge. For the inspiration I looked through some art nouveau pictures and then let my imagination lead me.
I used green and biscuit skinner blend for a background. After curing it I tinted some areas with black and brown acrylics, made a border and cured the ACEO once again.
My goal was to create an atmosphere of warm summer evening, when the sun is almost gone, the colours turn darker and the forest becomes the realm of ethereal aes sdhe.

hand foot ... hmmmm
An ACEO created for a challenge. A first and a reach for me. I decided this required a set. And it was a bit of fun.

Unfurl Your Heart to Me
"Take up the study of ferns," she said; "I want to do so. I have got a book about them, and I want to understand them from the very beginning. There are numbers of them in our woods and pastures, and it is a perfect waste of objects of interest to neglect them."
This is my entry in the PCAGOE February Challenge. True love found in nature.
If you could see the back it would say:
1. My full signature and handprinted name, copyright, date of 01/27/09 and location made
2. This little quote from a 1860's work titled "A Summer's Study of Ferns"
"On every side spring ferns, whose feathery leaves Seem wafted by the perpetual breath of God."
3. The title: "UNFURL YOUR HEART TO ME"
4. Materials used: Studio Polymer clay, in beige and a special color mixture to skinner blend with premo clay, paint, oil pencils, chalk. And the following organic materials:Boston fern, Bluebell fern, Lemon button fern, air fern, sphagnum moss.
5. #1 in Fern series
'Unfurl' means to open, and the little fiddleheads, or stipe's as they are called or even 'crosier's' because they resemble a shepherds staff or crook.
