Finally Got It!
Jakes mission in life for a month was to get this squeaker out of a toy. When he finally got it I had to let him play with it a while since he worked so hard to get it!!

Another silly pup pic
The blur in the top left corner and in the center under the nose area is...you guessed it, dog slobber! :-)

I've been spotted!
Jake was chasing squirrel scents in woods around our house. I was fully zoomed on him taking photos. This is when he spotted me! Being fully zoomed and a rainy, overcast day the quality isn't the best. If you look real close you can see his tounge sticking out a little! :-)

Yes, I know I'm the cutest dog EVER!
This is begging for a cute title but I just can't come up with one!!
Jake is growing so much. He is such a happy dog. We love him dearly and are thankful he's come into our lives! What a wonderful month we've had since he came along!
Happy New Year Everyone!

Fetch!
He weighs 27 pounds now! He weight 20 pounds two weeks ago!! I took this photo the day after his first vet visit. He got a nice bath and was as soft as a teddy bear! His coat does look a lot better than it did two weeks ago! The doc said his coat would improve in a couple more weeks. Right now he has dry skin and dandruff!
PS Puppy or Pupdog is what I had been calling him until two days ago since we couldn't come up with anything else. We finally named him Jake. I know that is a pretty standard dog name but it just fit when nothing else would!

Oh BOY - a KONG!
For those who don't know a Kong is a toy you stuff a treat in and the dog has to work to get it out!

Mmmm...tasty stick!
My sweet, happy Jake loves chewing on sticks (or anything else for that matter!) :-)

Uh Oh...
Yes, he got up there himself - Yes we had to help him down! This was a one time thing. From now on we leave ladders laying on the ground - not propped up!!!
