L a Gaume est connue comme "l� o� le soleil a une longueur d'avance" en on l'appelle "La Provence belge", car les couleurs des murs, les volets et les fen�tres et maisons toutes fleuries, avec le soleil et le microclimat qui la caract�rise, la fait ressembler fortement au Sud de la France, la vraie Provence!

Ataque del monstruo mutante de piedra de 15 metros
Los pobres oficinistas no pod�an imaginar que un gran monstruo destruir�a su edificio con su enorme mano de piedra... Este es un detalle de la espantosa escultura de Ripoll�s que el Ayuntamiento de Valencia ha colocado en una de las rotondas m�s concurridas de la ciudad.
The unsuspecting office clerks couldn't possibly imagine that a big monster would obliterate their building with its enormous stone hand... This is a detail of the godawful statue that the Valencia town hall has placed on one of the city's busiest roundabouts.

Alguien ha robado un pedazo de Las Vegas
Llevaba tiempo queriendo sacar esta foto, pero siempre acababa posponi�ndolo. Estas figuras se levantan en la 'frontera' entre Valencia y Alboraia, donde est�n tan fuera de lugar que resulta casi surrealista. Entre la esfinge y esa casa con forma extra�a hab�a una peque�a r�plica de la Estatua de la Libertad que debi� derrumbarse durante un d�a de mucho viento, hace unos meses. Deber�a haber hecho antes esta foto, pero as� es la vida....
I had wanted to take this picture for quite a long time, but always kept putting it off. Those figures stand at the 'frontier' between Valencia and the village of Alboraia, where they seem so out of place it's almost surreal. Between the sphynx and that oddly shaped semblance of a house there was a small replica of the Statue of Liberty that got knocked down during a specially windy day, a few months ago. I should have gotten around to shooting this picture before that, but then that's life...
