Steven, first cast of the day, On the dam on your right going up Springhill Road. It rained all day, we caught nothing not even a bite from 11am-6pm. Oh yes! Steven caught the cold, sniffle, sniffle cough, splutter, cough.

The 7 MacDonald Brothers

The man in the middle is my paternal grandfather, He was from Skye, (Tin-smithing was his occupation) died on the 28/04/1961 aged 71. and the rest are my paternal great uncles, all of whom have 'passed away' . The last to die was Big Sandie, he's the one playing the bagpipes, (Sandan Mor) aged 97 &11 months (May 1903-Apr. 2001)

My gran Mary Bella (Meiri Bel) was one of 15 of a family. She holding her son, James (Drean)( My Uncle). Her sister in-law Clementine Stewart is standing behind her with her daughter (Mary Bella's niece) in front of her.

My Maternal Grandfather, James MacDonald
(Photo of a photo).
My Grandfather Served in the merchant navy on HMS Pembroke in world war I, and drowned at Stornoway number 1 pier. on the 11th December 1939 aged 42. He left behind my Gran (Grace MacDonald nee Drummond) a widow at 29 with a young family of five aged between 1-10. Two of whom were physically disabled.
