Why is the widget in my profile never matching the actual number of contacts, photos, photos in explore or groups that are the numbers shown by flickr itself? Today it suddenly appeared in the profile widget that I had a photo in Explore but Flckr DNA only shows the ones that were dropped. I have 69 contacts and the widget says 65. Can this be corrected by Bighugelabs or are they unable to get an accurate feed from flickr?

The feed from Flickr is accurate but there are a couple of factors that affect the profile widget as you've noticed. Firstly, it is cached for a period of time depending on how often it is viewed. That is, it isn't updated each time you look at it. So the information shown can be a little bit behind what is current. In regards to contacts, some contacts don't share a public profile or have opted out of the API and I think either of those can affect the contact count. Because profile widgets are public, they don't show any private information (they only show public photo and set counts too, for example).

I've had problems with the profile widget too. It says I have no sets at all, when in reality I have 14 sets! I tried taking it out of my profile then reloading it, but it's still coming up as 0 sets.

For sets to be counted, some of the photos must be public. Also, it can take a while for a widget to refresh, even if you remove it and add it again.

I have 4 photos in Explore, the last of which was added in August -- and none of them are showing on my widget. Thought?

The widgets aren't updated every time you view them. Also, the widgets only show counts for photos that are currently in Explore.

At most, it should just be a couple of days behind. But again, it depends on how often it is viewed.

I have a problem with my widget. I changed my screen name on flickr but my widget still displays my old screen name. It has been a week since I changed the name, and still nothing.
