    I would totally love to have my Profile Widget on my site as a banner, but I can't have it with a white background.

    Is there any chance of getting it in PNG format?

    Have you tried changing the profile widget background color? It's an option on the widget creation page.

    That doesn't work if the site bg image is a pattern, not a solid color. =(
