The last three times I have made a mosaic of 36 of my latest favourites there have been blanks. Not only does it look bad it doesn't make sense because these are all photos open to the public. Can you explain or correct this please?

  2. It /might/ be related to the database issues Flickr has been having recently. Flickr is still recovering from some problems that took their entire site offline Sunday (Jan 12 2008).

It could also be that these user's Flickr privacy settings are preventing it or they have opted out of bighugelabs.com.

I have the same problem , my mosaics are non sense, many missing pictures . I try and then go and try again, and some of the pictures are seen in one , but others dont , and then again, some of the ones that were seen now are not ! .I dont get it .I asked one of the contacts if he/she had set any private setting , the answer was negative.

  4. Flickr has changed/added new privacy settings that relate to the API. Specifically, under "Hiding profile" it's possible to now opt-out of either searches on Flickr.com and/or searches on 3rd party websites.

It could also be that the user has opted out of BigHugeLabs.com.

Also, Flickr's database is running slower than normal after their Sunday upgrade which could be causing a lot of the problems.

It's one of those things and there's nothing I can do about any of them. Sorry.

Thanks anyway , but i dont think it is related with the last events on Flickr, this upgrading new stuff, it started before, and the my contact is friend , so i know there is no change in private setting or hiding profile.

  6. I've talked with several people who've insisted they weren't hiding their profile but when we dug right into it (with Flickr staff in one case) they were surprised to find out that they were. Also, many people link their accounts to bighugelabs.com and choose to keep their photos private without realizing what that means or forgotten that they've done it. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
