I have accessed my files for a photo that I have uploaded to Flickr. I have then added a frame to the photo using Matte and have saved it to my files. When I have attempted to replace the unframed version with the Matte version, Flickr sends me a message that there was an error and the photo cannot be replaced. How can I replace a current Flickr photo with an updated framed image. By the way, I have no problem in adding a Matte frame to a picture in my files that is not currently in Flickr. In other words, a "fresh" upload works fine.

Does Flickr say what the error was or just that there was an error?

The message says: "Upload Error. The file was not transferred properly. You can try again if you wish."

When you do a fresh upload how are you uploading? Directly from bighugelabs.com or using one of the Flickr upload tools?

I start by going to my files, adding the matte frame from bighugelabs, putting the modified version in my files and using the Flickr replace function to add the matte version to my photostream. After attempting this, I receive the error message.

Right. But when you do a fresh upload from scratch (when you're not replacing anything). How do you do it then? What I'm getting at is that I think the problem is in the difference of methods used to upload the photo and not in the image.
