That bugs me too. I've got plans to upgrade the magazine cover maker in the near future to make it easier to use and produce better looking covers.

When creating my own mag cover (http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/magazine.php), I find it annoying that it is so hard to get the same colour on text twice...I am trying to have several lines the same colour, but, as you have to click into a colour spectrum, it is very hard to get the exact same tone...Does anyone please know a quicker way to pick colours for the text??
Thanks, Jo

Pictures that are at least as large as the final magazine cover work best. The bigger they are, the higher quality the final poster will be (especially if you decide to print it). Portrait oriented photos work best because of the shape of the poster.

Okay, so I'm trying to use the magazine cover but every picture I choose to put on the cover, seems to be to big and fuzzed out? What pixel size should my pics be that I use for the stuff on this site? I don't mind changing the size of the pic so that it fits, I would just like to know. Thanks a ton!!
