hello,

Browsing to the "motivator" page today (May 8th, 2008) I have had the very unpleasant surprise to see an banner for the scientology video channel…

I'd like to know if Mr. John Watson belongs to this sect.

Thanks in advance.

You'll have to use a different photo or modify the one you've got. Photos with the subject centered and with ample space above and below work best. You can also try modifying your photo before uploading it by adding space to the top and bottom edges.

I can't get the Movie Poster program to keep from cutting off my head in every picture. I've tried everything I can figure out, but each time the movie title or tagline goes across my face. I've tried the different fade ins and outs at the top of the screen and have left out the top tagline altogether but it doesn't move up the movie title. Help me, please. Time is of the essence. Thanks

Hi, I am trying to make a mosaic that is 6 rows by 6, it lets me upload all 36 pictures but when I click create the most that I can get to appear is about 26 or so and the rest appear as blank spots. It isn't a problem with the images as I can do it different orders and get all the pictures to upload just not all at once. Any advice?

It could be that you are hiding your profile from searches (a Flickr account privacy setting). It could also be that you've opted out. Either of those would prevent BigHugeLabs.com from finding you. What is your Flickr screen name?

Rather than choosing the world map, you could try choosing just a region (like Europe or Asia) and then making just a map of that area. You can make as many as you'd like.

The map feature uses the Google Charts system and that is the largest size available.

Hi!

I wanted to say I think the map feature is a great new addition, I really like it, but I find the map way too small. In Europe, for instance, you can barely tell the countries apart.

Couldn't you make a bigger sized map?

Also, but this I find less important, it would be great if you could choose regions for some of the greater sized countries, like Russia, China, or USA. For example, I´ve been to New York, and on the map it looks like I've been to Alaska!

Thank you! ^^

Yes, but not here. If you have a Flickr account you can upload it there. Flickr automatically creates several sizes for you that might work in your blog (click "All Sizes" above your photo). If none of those are right you can click "Edit Photo" on Flickr (just above your uploaded photo) and resize it.

And if you're not on Flickr, I'd suggest uploading your finished mosaic to Picnik.com and resizing it there. Also, get a free Flickr account. :-)

Right. But when you do a fresh upload from scratch (when you're not replacing anything). How do you do it then? What I'm getting at is that I think the problem is in the difference of methods used to upload the photo and not in the image.

I thought this was the case as well, but I've noticed something further to this. I tried to make a set from the user Zoriah, and when I first created the mosaic, I had 4 blank spots - all 36 images were from the same user and the same set. When I went to upload I got the login screen to link to Flickr, after doing so I had to recreate the mosaic at which point I had 3 DIFFERENT blank spots... I did it one more time and had 1 blank spot - different again (it was one that was visible previously).

I understand there are privacy/API/etc. issues/settings but perhaps there's something else as well?

I have accessed my files for a photo that I have uploaded to Flickr. I have then added a frame to the photo using Matte and have saved it to my files. When I have attempted to replace the unframed version with the Matte version, Flickr sends me a message that there was an error and the photo cannot be replaced. How can I replace a current Flickr photo with an updated framed image. By the way, I have no problem in adding a Matte frame to a picture in my files that is not currently in Flickr. In other words, a "fresh" upload works fine.
